The Australian Climbing Accident Register welcomes blog submissions in order to build upon the technical knowledge base of the climbing community. These submissions should be related to safety techniques and risk mitigation strategies. 

Essay submissions to ACAR should:

• Follow similar guidelines to report submissions, which you can find here.

• Be well-researched and use appropriate data where possible.

• Focus on safety or risk management procedures in relation to one or many climbing disciplines.

• Be an original work for which the author reserves all rights.

• Be robust enough to withstand scrutiny from the community (e.g. peer review, if you will)

There is no word limit for these articles. Please use as much detail as you feel necessary to appropriately describe the technique or theory.
